Here at Canyon Spring Ranch we are a small breeder who loves their animals!  We carefully selected our males and females and believe we have matched them very well.  We take great pride in our breeding program.   All our dogs live with us, we do live on a ranch so  the dogs are kenneled for their safety while we are working with the horses. The rest of the time they are in our "fenced" yard or house with us.  All the puppies are raised in our home.  The terriers come down to the barn and have a  "Field Day" catching mice in the hay!   The poodle's specialty is sitting in our laps during computer and TV time. 
 

We have a 20 acre horse ranch www.draftcrosses.com , in the Santa Rita Hills "Wine Country" between the towns of Buellton and Lompoc in Santa Barbara County.  There is plenty of room for our terriers to play, they never run away and always play and hunt within the sound of our voices.  We have plenty of wild life around including deer, rabbits, squirrels, mice, occasional coyote and mountain lion.  For this reason, we always have an eye on them.  The terriers have given up giving chase to the Jack Rabbits and Deer.

We have one Standard Rat Terrier  that we do not breed (He guards the small ones), he is the reason we fell in love with the Rats.   The poodles are just fun to have around, they are precious, they love to be held.
